Create Custom Reading Groups

Set a student's Reading Stage

Note: This step is meant to be done with the student during a conference. It's important that your students know how they're doing, what they are practicing, and why. Watch this brief video for directions on setting an initial Reading Stage, and changing the Reading Stage.

Download the Student Portal App if you're using iPads or Kindle Fires

If students will be accessing the games on tablets you will want to download the Student Portal App. This allows the student the ability to use the microphone while playing the games. To download the app, click on the link that says "Student Portal iPad/Kindle App" (depending on your device type). The students can play the games without the app, but they will not be able to record their voices in Read and Record, therefore, the app is highly recommended when using iPads.
